Activity SPS 8: Review of EU regulation on GMO products imported into EU to assess the impact of these regulations on Vietnamese exports
Objective: To ensure Viet Nam’s continued compliance with relevant EU regulations on GMO imports.
Counterparts: DCP, PPD, regulatory laboratories, and exporters.
Outputs and expected outcome: The main output of the activity will be a report summarising the relevant EU regulations and associated technical guidelines that define control of GMO products imported into the EU. Through this activity, PPD staff will have a better understanding of the EU requirements relating to GMO products and how they affect Vietnamese exports.
